My floor plans are small or blurry. How can I fix?

When floor plans are in PDF format and the file size is large they can get scaled down to a lower resolution when uploaded. If this happens they may appear small or blurry on your website.

Try following these steps to fix:

  1. Return to the Floor Plans screen for the property in your CRIBFLYER admin panel. Click the X icon to remove the plans you previously uploaded.
  2. Open the original PDF on your personal computer and try to export the plans as an image file in PNG or JPG format. Most PDF viewers have a File > Export option. If the PDF has multiple pages you'll need to export each page as a separate image file.
  3. If your PDF viewer doesn't have an export option, adjust the zoom to view the floor plan at 100% size, take a screenshot of it and save the resulting image as a PNG or JPG.
  4. Create a new floor plan by uploading the PNG or JPG image you exported in the previous step.
  5. Preview your website and scroll down to the Floor Plans section to see if it fixed the problem.

If the steps above don't work then it's possible your PDF is very low resolution to begin with. Try requesting the plans in PNG or JPG format with a width of at least 1200 pixels from whomever originally provided them to you. Or contact CRIBFLYER support and ask us to take a look at your floor plan files and we'll try to determine the issue.
