You can use the Amenities feature to display a list of the key attributes of a property. Adding a comprehensive list of amenities helps potential buyers understand what makes the property unique and improves the overall appeal of your property website.
Adding and Managing Amenities
1) Navigate to the Amenities screen
- Select the desired property in your CRIBFLYER admin panel.
- Locate and click the Amenities link under the selected property in the sidebar navigation menu.
- You'll be taken to the Amenities screen where you can add, edit, and organize property amenities.
2) Tag your Property with Amenities
- On the Amenities screen, you'll see a text box where you can enter amenities.
- Type each amenity in the box and press tab or enter to separate them.
- For best results, include at least 10 amenities to make your property listing more comprehensive.
- If you notice a mistake after typing one just click the X icon or backspace to remove it and then retype.
- Drag and Drop amenities to reorder amenities after entering them.
- Amenities will display on your website in the same order as they appear on the admin screen.
3) If you need ideas you can select from a list of popular amenities.
- Click the "choose from our list" link to open a popup dialog with frequently used amenities.
- Check the boxes next to amenities that apply to your property.
- Popular choices include features like Air Conditioning, Ceiling Fans, Built-in Appliances, and more.
- Click ADD CHECKED when you've finished selecting amenities and they will populate in the box below the popup dialog.
Tips on adding amenities
- Be comprehensive: Include all relevant amenities to give potential buyers a complete picture of your property
- Highlight unique features: Make sure to include standout amenities that differentiate your property from others
- Keep it accurate: Only include amenities that actually exist in the property to maintain credibility
By following these steps, you can effectively showcase your property's amenities, making your listing more attractive to potential buyers and helping them envision living in the space.
Displaying Amenities on Your Website
1) Navigate to the Website Editor
- Click the Edit Website Design button at the top of the screen or the corresponding link in the sidebar menu.
- Both will take you to the same Website Editor screen for your property.
Customize the Amenities Section on your Website
- Click to open the Sections & Layout menu if it doesn't open automatically when the Website Editor loads.
- Find and click the Amenities section on the Sections & Layout menu.
- This will display the Layout Templates menu for the Amenities section.
From the Layout Templates menu you can do the following:
- Use the Include link in navigation bar fields to show and customize or hide the link to this section in the website's top navigation bar.
- Choose from a list of several different Layout Templates that will display your amenities in different ways.
- The currently selected layout will appear at the top of the list.
- Click the Apply Template link next to a layout option to change the template.
- Hover over the image thumbnail next to each layout option to see a larger image preview.
- Click the Customize button for the currently selected layout to see more design and color options specific to the template.
- Most Layout templates have several options that let you set custom text colors and make other design adjustments to the selected layout template.
