HOW I GOT STARTED
In my early 20’s, I was in college and working towards a degree in Accounting. Admittedly, my spare time interests were already drifting into the world of real estate! My husband said, “Why are you looking to pursue an accounting degree when you won’t shut up about real estate?” I figured he made an excellent point! With his unwavering support, I got started. I completed the required real estate coursework, passed the state and federal tests, and jumped into selling real estate full time! I have never looked back and am so glad to be doing what I love.
MY REAL ESTATE BACKGROUND
I began selling real estate in 2011 with Coldwell BankerResidential Brokerage. After spending several years there and ‘learning the ropes’ I joined C3 Real EstateSolutions where I was an Associate Broker for over6 years. It was here that my skills and experience in the job developed. My business grew and I began mentoring agents within the company. I taught these agents how to market both their services and properties, methods for providing excellent customer service, and managing transactions. I became one of the highest producing agents within this company of over 100 real estate agents and five offices. In 2018I obtained my Employing/Managing Brokers license, and in November, opened RTown Real Estate. Since then, I have owned and operated RTown Real Estate -creating the systems and training for agents to meet clients' needs across a variety of scenarios and am proud to continue to assist buyers and sellers across northern Colorado achieve their real estate goals.
WHAT I LOVE ABOUT MY JOB
Most of all, I love the people. Anytime a property is purchased or sold, it usually points to life transitions for individuals or families, and being invited to be a part of that process is one I graciously accept. Sometimes the circumstances surrounding a move are joyous and exciting while others can be times of great difficulty or loss. I find that while I am always acting as my clients’ REALTOR®, being there through an array of seasons with my clients, I cherish the opportunity to assist in making these transitions smooth and to offer my help however possible.
In reality, I love everything about my job! I love the array of activities it involves, creative marketing, and connecting with people including estate agents and industry partners. I love the numbers, seeing the potential in properties, and that real estate proves to be an excellent investment. I love that no matter the size of the property or the finishes within it, that ultimately, a house is what you make it; and that there really is no place like being home.
