She later spent three years as a manager with June Simmons Jewelry in downtown Sarasota. Mary Pat’s deep knowledge of her customers’ needs led to an impressive increase in sales and a buying and management role, enabling her to play an integral part in the opening and growth of a third location.

She and her husband, Kevin, have enjoyed raising their two daughters, Isabelle and Eliza, in a community full of culture and the beautiful outdoors. Isabelle, whose love for the arts grew when she started dancing as a young girl, is a freshman at American University, where she’s excited to focus on justice law and eventually attend law school. Eliza’s passion for the arts led to the world of theater and she is a proud freshman in the Visual and Performing Arts Program at Booker High School. Mary Pat and her family relish taking advantage of the area’s beautiful waterways, including boating and paddleboarding through the mangrove tunnels.
