Parks:

• Butler Holmes Park: This 2-acre park features an open grassy area with an accessible school-age and tot playground, an accessible grill and picnic shelter, and a basketball court.
• Penrose Park: this two-acre open green space is packed with picnic tables with a shelter, charcoal grills, a basketball court, a playground for 2-5 year olds and one for 5-12 year olds.

• Penrose Square Park:  an urban oasis complete with a pubic art sculpture

Columbia Pike Farmer's Market: The market is held at the Pike Park, which is the small green area in front of Rite Aid Drug store at Columbia Pike and South Walter Reed Drive. Every Sunday year-round from 9am - 1pm.

Columbia Pike Blue's Festival: A great way to kick off the summer, every year CPRO brings a number of top-notch Blues acts to the corner of Walter Reed Dr and Columbia Pike for a Saturday of great music and great food.  The next festival is set for June 17, 2023! 

Columbia Pike Movie Nights:  Held on Friday and Saturday nights in July and August at Arlington Mill or Penrose Square.
