Mackenzie Mudgett Longueuil is a Sarasota native with a wealth of knowledge in the global business community and over $100 million in career sales volume. Together with her mother, Pat Mudgett, the dynamic and strategic team has put their nearly 4 decades of real estate experience and in-depth area knowledge to work to provide a robust, thoughtful, and passionate experience to their customers.
After completing her primary and secondary education locally at Bay Haven, Pine View, and Riverview High School, Mackenzie attended Princeton University and later The Wharton School at The University of Pennsylvania for her MBA. Mackenzie stayed in the Northeastern U.S. for 15 years, where her career in business took off with prominent companies such as UBS, Atlas Venture, and The Boston Consulting Group. During this time she worked with senior executives from across North America and Europe to define strategy, raise funds, drive implementation, access innovation, and close deals.
Life balance and wellness are important to Mackenzie and she has an impressive history of athletic achievement in rowing, rugby, and competitive cycling to prove it. In addition to rowing for Riverview High and the Sarasota Scullers and winning a national championship in 1996, she is also a four-year varsity letter winner on the NCAA Division I Princeton Women’s Crew, a Head of the Charles gold medalist, Eastern Sprints Regatta gold medalist, and two-time Royal Canadian Henley gold medalist. While at Wharton, Mackenzie co-captained the women’s B field rugby team with a former Princeton rowing teammate and then took up competitive cycling as a member of the NY Velocity Women’s Racing Team after moving to Manhattan.
Back in her hometown, Mackenzie is passionate about Sarasota and all that it has to offer. She loves introducing others to the year-round gorgeous weather and abundance of activities and lifestyles. Upon returning to the area in 2012, she immediately became involved with The Church of the Redeemer, Sarasota Yacht Club, The Junior League of Sarasota, and Designing Daughters. Mackenzie has especially enjoyed raising her son, Parker, in her hometown. When not helping her customers find or sell their piece of paradise, you will most likely find her and husband, Don, chasing Parker on his bike throughout their West of Trail neighborhood – joking that he inherited her “need for speed.” Mackenzie, Don, and Parker also spend time boating and kayaking on the Sarasota waterways to enjoy the serenity and action of marine life. During the winter, they head north on occasion to hit the slopes for another favorite hobby, downhill skiing.
