Because we were away from the Portland area, Alex and Josh took care of both properties for us and gave us tremendous peace of mind throughout the entire process.  In particular, our rental house was 118 years old and needed substantial repairs before it could be sold. Alex and Josh voluntarily took on the difficult job of coordinating and managing the entire pre-sale repair project. They worked very hard to get the necessary work completed while staying within our limited budget, and their help made a complicated situation much easier for us. Throughout both sales, they were always friendly, responsive, practical, and easy to work with. Their commission was also very competitive, especially considering the amount of additional work and personal attention they provided. If we ever have another property to sell in the Portland area, we would have absolutely no hesitation in calling Alex and Josh again. Five stars and our highest recommendation!

As PR for my brother’s estate, selecting Alex Roy as realtor was the best choice I could have made. He knows the market, has the experience, and completed the sale with the best possible result leaving me thankful and impressed. Alex walked me through every step explaining the options, listening to my concerns, offering advice, and then let me weigh it out and make the decisions. The house needed updating before it went on the market and Alex secured bids, met each team at the house and oversaw all the work. He researched and presented options for every step right down to mirror and lighting choices. Alex’s communication was great, he replied to texts immediately and with photos when that helped to clarify situations. As far as we are concerned we could not have picked a better realtor. To say working with Alex was a pleasure would be an understatement. The best thing that stands out about Alex is communication. He kept us informed every step of the way. This was especially important as the house we sold was 75 miles from our home. My grandmother passed away in May of 2016, and I became the Personal Representative of her estate. Being the Personal Representative of my grandmother’s estate came with a lot of work and a lot of responsibilities. One being that I needed to sell my grandmother’s home in Portland, Oregon.
